Mitchell Motor Cars, Ltd., located at 16 Freedom Plains Road (Route 55) in Poughkeepsie, has been in business for over thirteen years, Mitchell Motor Cars specializes in the sale and service of used Mercedes-Benz and other German vehicles.

Chuck Mitchell, President of the company, says his business actually began during the 1960's as a hobby. "Friends and family members used to ask me to find specific vehicles for them, and that's how I got started," states Mitchell.

Today, Mitchell Motor Cars will still find that special vehicle a customer may be looking for. "If a customer comes in looking for a specific Mercedes in a specific color and we don't happen to have it in stock, we'll seek out that vehicle for them," says Chuck Mitchell.

Mr. Mitchell also dabbles in the antique and classic car market. "We will occasionally buy and sell classic vehicles, and of course, we will procure them at the special request of a customer," he says.

The service side of Mitchell Motor Cars is called "Mainly Benz Service" and features the professional care of technicians Shawn Garrison, Rich Sokol and Joe Meier. All of the service work is done in-house and Mr. Meier has 20 years of experience in the craft.
